VERDINA DE ASTURIAS

The Tierra Astur verdina bean, a legume protected by the Verdinas de Asturias guarantee brand, is small in size, kidney-shaped and very fine. In Asturias, this traditionally-harvested gourmet product is cooked with seafood and fish from the Cantabrian Sea, game from the Asturias wild mountains and traditionally-made pork sausages. This Asturias legume has a characteristic green colour that is preserved thanks to a remote drying process using sunlight, which extols its quality and nutritional value.
Its curing cycle is short and ranges from sixty-five to eighty days.
