GUILFA MONASTERIO DE CORIAS P.D.O. CANGAS WHITE WINE

Cangas white PDO wine made from white albarín grape, one of the varieties grown in this southwestern Asturias region.
This wine, made by the Monasterio de Corias winery, is one of the most awarded in different Spanish and international contests.
Cangas PDO Wine is recognised as heroic viticulture due to its harsh production conditions with slopes greater than 30 degrees incline, altitude and where it is impossible to use harvesting machines.
The Monasterio de Corias Winery is a precursor in the recovery of this wine that has been made since the 9th century and that was on the verge of disappearing at the end of the last century. Eight wineries currently maintain active production with 115,000 corked bottles per vintage.
