Gamonéu cheese is a cheese made with raw cow, sheep or goat’s milk or a blend of them. After the curdling and gravity pressing process, the pieces undergo a smoking process with noble woods (generally oak) and are cured in natural caves.
Gamonéu PDO Cheese is undoubtedly one of the most surprising Asturias cheeses that summarises a large part of Asturias cheese tradition and culture.
