GOCHU DE MONTE ORGANIC SALCHICHÓN SAUSAGE

Salchichón sausage made from pigs from our own livestock. The process of making this sausage is respectful of traditional recipes and maintains the essence of true quality Iberian sausages, dried using traditional artisan techniques and packaged at the optimum curing point.
The Asturias Gochu de Monte cular sausage is a unique sausage from the meat of animals raised in freedom in a project that covers more than 50 hectares in the mountains of the central area of Asturias. Asturias Gochu de Monte cular sausage is made with the finest meats of these animals born and raised in the Asturias mountains and fed on organic cereals and grains.
The organic Gochu de Monte project is a pioneering initiative of La Casería de Tierra Astur that seeks to dignify pork meat, which has had a negative perception among consumers in recent years. The organic Asturias Gochu de Monte is the result of the crossing Asturias sows with Duroc boars, a technique that improves meat quality and results in greater fat infiltration and therefore high quality sausages. The Gochu de Monte Asturiano sausage is presented in a bar of approximately 450 g, vacuum packed.
